French onion soup @ le Piaf. Under an inch of melted cheese and a thin layer of bread, I finally found a little cache of buttery, savory onions and broth. I am pretty sure that is not the traditional recipe but it’s OK, because it tasted incredible (as did the rest of the meal). Will definitely be going back, and it’s a good excuse to go to the West.
